Why the IPod Touch is a Must Have

Chances are you have heard of an MP3 player. There’s probably an even bigger chance you have heard
of the IPod. This article is all about the IPod Touch from Apple. We’ll run through the many features
other MP3 players just don’t have. At just 4.3 inches high, 2.4 inches wide and 0.33 inches deep it
really is a must have.
The Screen. The IPod Touch features a 3.5-Inch widescreen with multi touch Retina display. Add
to this the amazing 960-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 per inch and it’s everything you have
ever wanted out of such a small gadget. You’ll find you’re able to watch video clips, view pictures
and play games without compromising resolution quality.
Audio. The audio quality is certainly no let down. There are many supported formats such as MP3,
WAV and of course all the iTunes formats. You will happily be able to listen to your entire music
collection for hours on end once you here just how good it sounds. Why not buy a sound dock to complete your setup.
Wireless. It just gets better. The IPod touch also packs in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi so if you have wireless broadband
at home, work or even if you're at the coffee shop you’ll be able to browse the web and check your emails directly off your
IPod Touch without any wires. There’s also Bluetooth 2.1 so you’ll be able to transfer photos etc off your mobile
phone and vice versa. There is now also Facetime which allows video calling and a rear camera which recoreds stunning HD video.
Language Support. The IPod Touch supports many different languages.
English (Both U.S and UK), Japanese, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, Italian,
Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Korean, Swedish, Russian, Polish,
Turkish, Ukrainian, Arabic, Thai, Czech, Greek, Hebrew, Indonesian, Malay, Romanian, Slovak, and Croatian, French (France).
Battery. The built in Li-Ion rechargeable battery seems to last a lifetime. Fully charged you can listen to music for up to
30 hours and watch video for up to 6 hours.
Applications. There are over 75,000 applications available for the IPod Touch. If you’re a game lover you’re in luck.
There are also many other apps for things like social networking and stocks & shares updates.
Capacities. There are 3 to choose from as follows.
8GB - capacity for up to 1,750 songs or 10 hours video.
32GB - capacity for up to 7,000 songs or 40 hours video.
64GB - capacity for up to 14,000 songs or 80 hours video.
